Cristiano Malvone was declared dead at the scene of a collision between Ford and the Churncote Roundabout on the A458.
An inquest held in March 2017 heard that Malvone was two and a half times over the drink drive limit when the collision occurred and had also taken cannabis. He had been seen riding on the footpath alongside the A458 near Ford, and later veered from this path across the verge into the carriageway, where he was struck.
Coroner John Ellery recorded a verdict of death by road traffic collision.
