Cyclist killed in collision with horse box. According to a police statement, the victim “entered the main road after approaching the junction from Holywell Lane”.
The victim was attended to by a member of the public, after which an off-duty police officer stopped at the scene and assisted. The section of the road north of the Arden Arms junction was closed until 4pm.
