A cyclist spoke to driver about her use of a mobile phone while driving, to which she responded by shouting and then pursuing the cyclist along Victorian Grove until she drove into him near the junction with Ormsby Place. The cyclist suffered a lacerated liver, collapsed lung and more.
In September 2016 the driver was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and was bailed to appear before magistrates on 19 October.
