Dylan Crossey was cycling along Chain House Lane when he was fatally struck by a driver who did not stop at the scene. David Harwood was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of drink. In August 2017 he appeared in court to answer charges of causing death by dangerous driving and two other (unreported) offences and was bailed until the following month.
