Wednesday 21 September 2016 was the day of “Project Edward”, created by Tispol, the European Traffic Police Network, as the “European Day Without A Road Death”.
You read that right. A day without a road death anywhere in Europe—which sees on average around 70 deaths per day—just somehow happening.
A while ago I was asked to take a look at a video, recorded on a rear-facing camera, of a close pass by a lorry driver to see if I could estimate how close the lorry came to the bike and its rider.
